Phato Gypsy Safari Booking and Night Stay

Phato is the new zone of Corbett which became part of Corbett on 2 January 2022. This is located in the northern part of Corbett Tiger reserve, near Maldhan. 

This zone is famous for the Jeep safari, as it’s an untouched and unseen area of Corbett so most of the tourist demand Phato and tiger sightings in Phato making their decisions right. Spotting tigers and other animals are normal and limited safaris are allowed and the jungle is far from human activities.

Phato is the largest area of Jeep safari if we see in the terms of area and this is around 20 km away from Ramnagar main city. 

Night Stay in Phato

Night Stay is available for tourism in the zone, and you will stay in the forest rest houses which were built in British aura. This carries you back to 1800- 1900 and you will be far from the hectic life of the city.

Safari and Safari Timing

Two shifts have been reserved for the day jeep safaris for the photo zone which are as follows

40 jeeps are reserved for the safari in the morning shift.

40 jeeps are reserved for the safari in the evening shift.

Phato Zone Permit Booking

In Order to have a jeep safari in Phato you still have to book a permit at the entry gate of Phato gate, you have to be there for 1 hour and you will get a permit.
